Our soul always seeks god. God and our souls are connected in some mysterious way. God originally created humans with a small piece of himself inside and the soul constantly tries to find that connection again.
our soul connects to the closest thing in an attempt to find god. If the soul seeks pleasure in some thing it is actually yearning for that original god connection. The soul actually misses that original connection.
I have found that everything in this physical realm is a disappointment for my soul. It has tried to find the comfort of connection and wasn’t happy until it found its grounding in a relationship with god. Believe me I have tried almost everything and nothing satisfies like god.
