The Challenge of Believing in an Invisible God

to even think that there is a god who is everywhere all the time is a stretch that our minds don’t do naturally. We can’t “see” god or detect god in any way. God is invisible to our eyes. God is in a different world or plane to ours. We are physical and everything we do and think is tied to this physical world. God is in a different type of reality invisible to humans and to think about him we have to imagine that he is real. We can’t see invisible things and we have to shift our thinking, kind of like step out of ourselves and look as if we are now separate from the physical world, and imagine that god is here with me and everywhere else too. Faith is believing in something that you cannot see, feel or touch and can’t be quantified. Faith requires us to set our brain aside and trust something that doesn’t seem to be there.
