Jesus is mentioned many times in the New Testament as a rock or the rock but I found him in the Old Testament as a rock.

a strange rock followed the people of Israel for 40 years. This rock wasn’t on a cart or a figment of their imagination, it was an actual rock. At first it was called the well of Miriam and the israelites were given water for everyday use from this rock-really weird, but I believe it because god used to do stuff like this.

this rock followed Israel around like the pillar of fire by night and the cloud by day. The rock was a permanent fixture for 40 years, though it acted on its own. The Israelite’s had nothing to do with transporting it- really freaky!

this rock provided water for the 12 tribes (3 million people) for 40 years! It was a desert that they traveled around in, so lots of water was needed.
