Navigating the Spiritual Realm: Trusting Beyond Ourselves

I don’t think we can trust ourselves because we don’t tend to choose god automatically.

Our ability to do what is good for us is broken.

I have known for a long time that I am prone to make wrong choices and fortunately god has saved me many times from terrible grief. I just can’t make the right choices for myself. I realize that I have never really trusted myself.

In the spiritual world I have no clue how to act, to turn left or right, to navigate. The spiritual world is unknown to all of us. We live in this world and think that we know how to navigate as a human on earth but what about what happens in the spiritual world. We live in both worlds and we only understand one of them.

I think it would be wise to know how we affect our life in the spiritual world. Our souls are residents of that world. That is the home world of our soul even though it dwells in us for now. While it lives here in this body, our soul is like a fish out of water. It flounders around gasping and accepting the smallest form of energy that it can detect in order to satisfy its greatest need.

The soul is a desire machine. It desires deep connection. It is also blind and it requires help to find what it really needs. Of course in this mortal realm, the flesh steps forward as the hero that can provide for the souls desire. Unfortunately there is nothing on this earth that the flesh can provide for the soul. All of the desires on this earth are shadowy reminders of god, the creator. The soul always finds disappointment with anything less than god.

Do you ever think that there may be another type of life other than the one we have on earth? Do you ever want to see that other world?
