We all practise the faith called “More”

Everything we do worships a god of more. I include myself in this, heap up treasures on earth and neglect treasures in heaven. 

Lord Jesus, have mercy! I am crying as a write.

We can change, but will we? We CAN say “TODAY, I choose to follow YOU”

Will you?

The disciples dropped everything when Jesus asked them to. They left everything behind and followed. Do we do the same? Seeking “more” has become our standard practise. We have become blinded, our souls have followed the wrong master. The pied piper has enchanted us with his tune. We are a “rat race”. We revel in Pandora’s box, without considering the consequences to our eternal soul. But there is still hope inside the box hiding in plain sight. Jesus is our only hope. He is the hope hidden inside the evils, inside this time. Every second of every day we have this Hope.

Stop right now and ask Jesus for MORE of HIM.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
