when we take on an unknown task it creates fear and stress. We know where we are before god. We really are not capable of knowing god on our own. Sweating it is a sign that you are trying to do this in your own strength, by your own hand.
Jesus does most of the work. Following the image of two oxen in one yoke, we are learning from Jesus through the voice of the Holy Spirit. We don’t have to try, we just have to listen and follow. This is the miracle of being on Christ. Jesus said my burden is light. The only burden we have is following Jesus.
relax. It’s not MY work. Do we think that we are capable of doing anything at all in the spiritual realm? Anything good anyway, anything of substance or real value? We are not able. We just don’t have the knowledge or skill to navigate another invisible world. The world of faith is out of our skill level. Let go, listen, wait.
don’t forget though, yield your mind and will to Christ. Without our assent the Holy Spirit can’t work. This is the exquisite beauty of our freedom in Christ. It is all a gift. We just have to relax and accept gods gift.
