slow down and let go of your life to the Holy Spirit. The spirit always yearns but we don’t always plug into the spirits yearning. The yearning are their, but my spirit has not positioned itself under that living waterfall.

feel the spirits yearning. They are there. If you are quiet for a while and slow, you will feel the pull in your heart. Your heart will pull towards the spirit. Heart and mind, they lift and ‘see’ what the spirit sees.

I usually feel this when the spirit wants to compete with something, some activity that I have always held dear. Now, strangely that activity no longer holds the same salience, the same strength in my heart. My heart is like a competitive ‘field’ where a cosmic spiritual game is taking place. My heart is like that field. The spirit is winning and I feel unusual dissatisfaction with my life or something in it. I feel my heart moving away from the world. The spirit is asking me to redirect my will. The spirit wants me to abide in Jesus, while the world wants business as usual.

our hearts are like an intelligence. It seeks mostly physical things because we have very strong fleshly instincts. But now the spirit gives us an option. “choose me, choose me”

use your mind to direct your heart to Jesus.
