Thoughts on God and truth

The Ego as a “Tether”

Our ego is what keeps us trapped in time and separation.

Everything we do to define, anchor, or label ourselves is an act of the ego. In physics, a “superposition” collapses when it’s measured; in life, the infinite beauty of God’s presence “collapses” when our ego tries to control it. The ego is a tether that keeps us locked in a small, safe version of ourselves. To experience the fullness of God, we have to be willing to “drop the anchors” and dwell in the silence of nothingness.

What labels are you using that are actually keeping you from the Infinite?
